Complete treatment Pre, Trans and post-operative plastic surgeries:

Did you know that performing a complete treatment at all stages of your surgery is extremely important for the minimum or absence of complications to occur?

Because they cause big impacts on the body, plastic surgeries require extra attention at all stages of the surgery so that the process is more pleasant, followed by a more efficient recovery, less painful and with a reduced number of sessions.

In the Pre-Operative
We prepare and treat the patient with food guidance, correct use of compression garments and boards, nutricosmetics, dermocosmetics, manual lymphatic drainage, Ilib therapy, with the major objective of preventing and correcting possible changes that may interfere with your post-operative result.

In the trans-operative period
Inside the operating room as soon as the surgery ends we use the lymphatic taping, compression foam or boards and silicone channels(canaleta) for demarcation of lipo HD (when necessary) in order compress the negative area and control the inflammatory process with reduction or absence of ecchymosis (bruise), intense edema (swelling) and pain.
Therefore, complications are minimal or absent, such as disorganized fibrosis, seromas, epitheliolysis, necrosis and dehiscence.

In the post-operative period
we use everything that is best for a quick and effective recovery. Clinical reasoning for the best choice of manual therapy, Manual Lymphatic drainage, Kinesiotherapy, electrotherapy resources, taping and auriculotherapy.

Treatment of post-operative complications.
Such as: new and old fibrosis (scar tissue, disorganized collagen), seroma, dehiscence, epitheliolysis and necrosis.

What are the benefits of using taping?

Taping placed in the operating room reduces edema and ecchymosis, relieves pain accelerating the healing process and thus reducing the number of post-operative sessions by half.

The Taping acts by mechanical action, lifting and moving the skin. Does not have medication and performs lymphatic drainage for 24 hours.

The use of Taping in the office also reduces edema. We can use it to approximate scar edges and in hypertrophic scars.

Taping benefits:

  • post-surgical pain relief and swelling reduction.
  • improves lymphatic circulation
  • prevents and reduce formation of seromas (buildup of clear fluid in a tissue) and ecchymosis (bruises)
  • faster recovery of patients
